I first developed an interest in real estate in my late teens by observing my mother who was a very successful realtor in the Sacramento area. Although my mother worked very hard for her clients and often at non-business hours, I still liked the fact that she was able to be available for the many activities of our family. After graduating from college with a BS in Business and a Concentration in Real Estate and Land Use, I decided to give residential real estate sales a try. Steve Streng has been licensed and working in the local real estate industry for nearly 40 years. Growing up working in a homebuilding family, he developed a passion for housing that still motivates him today.
Steve worked summers from junior high through college for his father’s building Company, Streng Bros. Homes, Inc. He received Business and Homebuilding degrees from Trinity University, and an MBA from Cal-Poly. He has designed, built, and sold hundreds of homes in and around Sacramento. Steve has been fortunate enough to use many of the skills learned over the years to help his clients with their diverse real estate needs.
He has blended his design and building skills into a successful real estate career. His trained eyes see the inherent flaws as well as possibilities that each property presents. Steve works with trustworthy inspectors, suppliers, subcontractors, lenders, title officers, marketing personnel, other realtors, and most of all, exceptional customers.
